　$x = 4\sin \theta$ とおいたので

$$\begin{aligned} &0 \leq x \leq 2 \\\therefore\quad &0 \leq \frac{x}{4} \leq \frac{1}{2} \\\therefore\quad &0 \leq \sin \theta \leq \frac{1}{2} \\\therefore\quad &0 \leq \theta \leq \frac{\pi}{6}\end{aligned}$$

一般に $-\pi/2 < \theta < \pi/2$ ならば $\cos \theta > 0$ なので、今の $\theta$ の値域でも $\cos \theta > 0$ が成り立ちます。
